The Malta Office is made up of the President of the MBB, Mr John Huber, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Joseph Tanti, and two Executives, Ms Mariella Scicluna and Ms. Amanda Sciortino.

President of the MBB - Mr. John Huber is an officer in the Board of Management of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and is Chairman of the Yachting Services Business Section. John runs an advisory firm and is a Fellow of The Malta Institute of Taxation and a member of the Malta Institute of Management.



EXECUTIVE TEAM



Chief Executive Officer - Mr. Joseph Tanti was appointed as CEO of the Malta Business Bureau in April 2009. Mr. Tanti holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde (Business School) in Glasgow. Mr. Tanti previously held the post of Head of Industry Human Resources Development at the Malta Tourism Authority where his responsibilities included the development of people in the tourism industry. Mr. Tanti also played a key role in the restructuring of the MTA as he was appointed as the Change Facilitator assigned to facilitate the restructuring process in relation to Human Resources. He has considerable expertise in a wide range of EU-funding Programmes, resulting in the successful submissions and management of various EU funded projects some of which have been acknowledged as best practices by the European Commission. Throughout the years Joe has also gained extensive international experience having worked and lived in Switzerland, UK and Ireland.



Executives - Ms. Mariella Scicluna and Ms. Amanda Sciortino were both appointed as executives in April 2009. Both Mariella and Amanda hold a degree in B. European Studies (Hons.) from the University of Malta. In addition to this Ms. Scicluna has read an M.A in Diplomatic Studies, while Ms. Sciortino has completed her M.A in European Studies.
